Our hospital radio stations

We have hospital radio stations on each of our hospital sites. These are run on a voluntary basis so regularly recruit new volunteers and welcome donations. For full information please visit the respective websites.

Whipps Cross University Hospital

Whipps Cross Hospital radio has been broadcasting to hospital patients in north-east London for over 35 years. For more information, to volunteer or make donations please visit the Whipps Cross Hospital Radio website

The Royal London Hospital

Whitechapel AM has been running for over 30 years and broadcasts to The Royal London.

To volunteer with Whitechapel AM and for more information, please email Please note that we are unable to offer work experience placements and you must be over 18 to volunteer at the station.

Newham University Hospital

Woodside Hospital Radio has been broadcasting since 1983. For more information to volunteer or make donations please visit the Woodside Hospital Radio website.

St Bartholomews Hospital

St Barts Hospital radio is our newest addition and has been broadcasting since 2010.
